Our Warm Spaces Project has been providing a warm space for African Caribbean elders for over 50 years in Hackney.

Photograph featuring an older woman smiling warmly at the camera. She is wearing glasses, hoop earrings, and a patterned top with zigzag designs in red, black, and white. Around her neck, she has a necklace with a lion pendant. The background is slightly out of focus, but it appears to show some colorful artwork and framed items on the wall.

It’s a warm place on colder days and somewhere safe to be if you’re struggling with heating costs.

These are free sessions that run for several weeks during the winter months. You’ll find a warm welcome and a light lunch, games, quizzes, gentle exercise, reminiscing and more. Meet old friends, find new ones or just come to keep warm!

Come along if you’d like some company and take part in our activities if you feel like it. You can join in with some arts and crafts, play games, hear or share some poetry, listen to music or get up and dance!

Simple meals and ‘finger foods’ are available, and we also have events and occasional trips.

Fill out our online form or download our form and return it via email.
