The Windrush Generation in Hackney
In June 2024, CJO joined local people in celebrating the lives and contributions of the Windrush generation.
It was a day of remembrance, joy and some sadness as we came together to listen, share, sing and eat with those pioneers from the Caribbean who came to London and Hackney for better lives and to help re-build a battered, post-war Britain.
